Who We Are

KD Insurance Agency ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent insurance advisory firm based in Southlake, Texas, operated by Khanh and Duyen Nguyen. Our website is kd-smartsavings.web.app.

Information We Collect

Strategy Matcher (six-step form)

When you complete our six-step strategy matcher, we collect: first name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and your answers about area of interest, life stage, intended beneficiary, primary financial concern, and approximate household income band. These answers help us match you with the right licensed team member and coverage options before your consultation.

Quick Message form

If you use the shorter "quick message" form instead, we collect: name, email, area of interest, and an optional message. You may also optionally share your age, monthly savings amount, and target retirement income — these fields help us prepare for your call but are not required.

Calculator email gate

If you choose to unlock your full retirement-gap results by email, we collect only your email address. The calculator numbers you enter (age, income, desired retirement income) run entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers.

Technical information

When you submit any form, we also record the browser user-agent string (truncated to 200 characters), the language version of the site you submitted from (English or Vietnamese), and a timestamp. We do not log your IP address.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, discuss insurance and savings options relevant to your situation, and schedule consultations. Submissions are reviewed by Khanh, Duyen, or another licensed team member. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your submissions are stored in Google Firestore (a Firebase product from Google Cloud), which acts as our primary data processor. Strategy-matcher submissions are saved in a collection named "qualifications"; quick-message submissions are saved in a collection named "leads"; calculator email-gate captures are saved in a collection named "email_gate_leads." Access is restricted to Khanh, Duyen, and authorized administrators via password-authenticated admin console.

Third-Party Services

When you submit a form, a short summary of your submission is also forwarded via Web3Forms to our business email so we receive an immediate notification. Web3Forms acts solely as a notification-relay service and does not store your data beyond delivery. For their privacy practices, visit web3forms.com.

Our website uses Google Maps to display our office location. Google may collect usage data through this embed according to their privacy policy. The map is loaded only after you click to activate it.

We use Google Fonts for typography, loaded from Google's CDN. Google may collect anonymized usage data through font requests.

Cookies and Tracking

Our marketing pages do not set analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts. We do not track your browsing behavior across our site. The Google Maps embed and Google Fonts may set their own cookies according to Google's policies when loaded.

Data Retention

We retain your submissions indefinitely for our business records and relationship history, unless you request deletion. If you'd like your data removed, contact us using the details below and we'll delete all records associated with your email or phone number within 30 days.

Data Security

Our website is served over HTTPS with HSTS enforcement. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Firestore access is restricted by security rules that require authenticated admin access for reads and validate every field shape on writes. We use Firebase Hosting with additional HTTP security headers.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. You may also object to or limit how we use your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at khanhvnguyen1@yahoo.com or call 682-559-9009. We will respond within 30 days.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and there is no "sale" of personal information for us to opt out of. We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

Texas Residents

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Texas residents have the right to know what personal information we process, to access and correct that information, to request deletion, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sales, and certain profiling. We do not engage in targeted advertising or sales of personal information. To exercise your TDPSA rights, use the contact details below.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
